Crystal Plaza — Stanford White Historic Mansion

Crystal Plaza in Livingston is one of New Jersey's most historic and most beloved wedding venues — a magnificent mansion built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, who also designed the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden, and the arch at Washington Square Park in Manhattan. The Janoff family has owned and operated Crystal Plaza for four generations — over 105 years — upholding the spirit of the period's architecture and building a legacy of white-glove service that has made this venue a fixture in Essex County wedding culture.

The Grand Ballroom is what the venue is named for. Glittering crystal chandeliers adorn the ceilings and walls of this stunning 5,000-square-foot space — originally the source of the Crystal Plaza name. A gold-detailed ceiling, ornate columns along the walls, a large round wooden dance floor, and curtain-dressed glass windows overlook the seasonal gardens. A Juliet balcony overlooks the scene from above. It accommodates up to 350 guests seated and 450 cocktail-style.

If you want to get married in the Tri-State area, there is absolutely no competition for The Crystal Plaza. Every space is beyond stunning. The staff is completely unmatched. The food is to die for from start to finish. We wish we could do it all over again.
