For over 100 years, Ellis Island stood as the gateway to the American Dream — the first glimpse of a new life for more than 12 million immigrants between 1892 and 1954. The Registry Room stops guests in their tracks. The grand hall where immigrants were processed features 60-foot vaulted Guastavino tile ceilings, expansive arched windows, and 13,000 square feet of breathtaking historic interior — with views of the Manhattan skyline on one side and the Statue of Liberty on the other. It is a setting impossible to recreate anywhere else on earth.
