Built in 2006 to exacting standards of old-world Italian elegance, Il Villaggio in Carlstadt is one of Bergen County's most distinguished wedding venues. Capturing the beauty and charm of southern Italy in a modern facility, Il Villaggio brings the grandeur of the great Italian villas to northern New Jersey — with Route 17 convenience and the Manhattan skyline just 30 minutes away.
The Grand Ballroom is genuinely breathtaking. Designed to evoke the villas of southern Italy, it features 25-foot soaring ceilings hung with eight opulent crystal chandeliers, a 1,200 square foot dance floor of imported Portuguese granite, and a romantic Juliet balcony framed by scrolled ironwork. From the spacious majestic lobby through to the ballroom, every inch reflects the painstaking attention to detail that defined the 2006 build.
