Tom and Lori met in NY and have been working together in the floral industry since 1986. They are proud to represent the next generation of the Cress Family Florists, established by Tom’s Grandfather in 1903. Lori is a trained Fashion Designer with a specialty in color and design of Women’s sportswear and knitwear. After 10 years in the NYC garment industry, she joined Tom in the floral business bringing with her a strong fashion sense and an excellent eye for detail. Lori loves working one on one with the Brides to create tasteful, unique and stunning arrangements that best reflect each Bride’s personality and dreams. She loves putting beautiful floral and color combinations together, always taking the dress colors of her brides and their maids into careful consideration. Lori’s motto "Everything must flow, nothing will ever clash!!" Tom was born into the Floral business and with that, a lifetime of floral training and expertise. He has a keen eye for Bride’s wishes and will create exquisite fresh floral combinations on the spot for them to see and hold. Tom is also very creative with venue decor and offers to decorate ideas and tips to complete the event. Both Tom and Lori gently guide their clients on what works best, listening and working tirelessly as a unique team to ensure each Wedding and Special Event is truly a once in a lifetime memorable experience!

During your first meeting, they discuss in detail your floral vision, bouquet design, ceremony and reception flowers, and all of the other fine details for your wedding day. Of course, your budget is discussed and respected. Within a few days, we email a complete detailed proposal with itemized pricing and options. When our brides come back for their second visit, we make their exact fresh floral samples of bouquets and centerpieces for their approval. Upon our couple’s approval, we then secure a deposit to hold their date for their upcoming wedding. All of our samples are photographed and documented so our couples know exactly what we will provide them on their wedding day.
